NCBA Convention Information
For those of you who have not attended convention before, here is some basic information. This will vary from year to year, but will give you an idea of how things are! Dates vary by Year.We normally have about 40 vendors. In 2005, we had approximately 800 people at convention, including registrants, vendors, visitors and teachers. We offered over 170 classes, ranging in skill level from beginner to advanced, and some classes were all levels. It is very possible for a novice basketmaker and a very experienced basketmaker to each find classes to fill the weekend! Visitor's Day is Friday and Saturday.
Visitors are allowed access to vendors and Exhibit Room, we ask that you please do not interrupt classes in progress, or talk to teachers who are teaching. Visitors may register in advance, the entry fee is $10 per day. If a Visitor is a paid NCBA member, s/he may vote in the Exhibit Room. If you are not registered, you will not be able to enter classrooms.
